Please read this information carefully before ordering. By placing an order, you are agreeing to our policies as stated below.
All of our artworks are made-to-order, although occasionally we have pieces available for immediate purchase. Please contact us if you are interested in this option.
Orders are made in the order in which they are received, and generally have a 4 to 8 week lead time. Custom orders, large orders, and framed orders can take longer. Please plan ahead when ordering gifts, and let us know if your order is time sensitive when you place it.
Once we receive your order, you will receive an email confirming the contents of your order and your shipping address. It is your responsibility to let us know right away if your order contains any errors, so that we can properly produce and ship it. You will receive another email with tracking information when your order ships.
Orders are placed on our schedule and materials ordered only after full payment is received.
Payments through this website are processed through Stripe. All major credit cards are accepted. If you prefer, we also accept payment through PayPal. You can choose this option at checkout. All prices are in US Dollars.
New York residents pay 8.875% sales tax, which will be automatically added to your total.
We are meticulous packers. Unframed work is double boxed, and framed work is shipped in Premium Grade MasterPak fine art shipping boxes.
If there are multiple pieces in your order, each one will be packaged separately and have its own tracking number. Easels are packaged separately from artwork.
All orders are shipped with tracking to the address provided at checkout, are insured for their full value, and are sent signature required unless the customer requests otherwise. If the signature is waived, the customer will assume all responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen packages.
Shipping to the US is by UPS Ground and is free.
Shipping to Canada is also by UPS Ground and is free.
International shipping (except to Canada) is by Federal Express International Economy. There is a fee of $125.00 per piece for unframed work, $250.00 per piece for framed work, and $100.00 for each easel.
Color cards are sent by USPS Priority Mail both domestically and internationally. Shipping to the US and Canada is free, while there is a $20.00 fee per card for international shipping (except to Canada). Color cards are carefully packed in padded mailers and marked Do Not Bend, but, despite our best efforts, they might occasionally arrive less than perfectly flat from having been forced into mailboxes or through mail slots. We do not offer refunds or replacements for color cards that have been bent in shipping as they are still fully usable.
International shipping fees are not charged through our website. Rather, they are invoiced separately through PayPal. You will receive this invoice within 1-2 days of placing your order. Please note that any shipping fees must be paid in full before your color card can be shipped or work on your artwork can begin. If you have any questions about international shipping, please contact us before placing your order.
Transit times are determined by the carrier and will vary by destination.
Please note that shipments outside the US may be subject to customs fees, which are the sole responsibility of the customer. In addition, we are required by law to disclose the full value of package contents and cannot alter the value as stated on your invoice.
In order to stay on schedule, materials are ordered for your artwork no later than 2 days after we receive your order. As such, we are able to change or cancel an order only within 48 hours of order placement. After 48 hours, orders cannot be changed or cancelled.
If you have any questions at all before placing your order, contact Julia at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to speak with Julia before ordering, include your phone number, time zone and the best time to reach you in your email, and she will set up a phone appointment with you. Julia respects your time and privacy, and will call you only at a mutually agreed upon time.
Returns and Exchanges
All sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges as your artwork is made-to-order for you. However, if you receive a damaged or incorrect item, we will work with you to make it right.
Please inspect your purchase immediately upon receipt. Any problems with your order must be reported to Cartesian Graphics within 3 days of receipt. We cannot be held responsible for problems reported after this time frame.
If your order has been damaged in shipping, please email photographs of the damaged item and any damage to the packaging to email@example.com. Cartesian Graphics will take care of filing an insurance claim with the shipper, but it is very important that you hold on to both the damaged item and the original packaging as the shipper may require a physical inspection before paying the claim. If you dispose of the item or the packaging, the shipper might not honor the claim, in which case Cartesian Graphics cannot issue a refund or arrange for a replacement.
Since orders are carefully reviewed at multiple stages, it is highly unlikely that you will be sent the wrong item. However, if the review process fails and you end up with the wrong item, we will quite simply fix it.
We never share or sell your personal information. Any information we collect is used only for processing your order.

While we meticulously color correct our photos, all computers are different and we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your computer is identical to the color of the actual crystal. If you are unsure of the color, we recommend ordering a Color Card before purchasing a crystal collage.
